| I am a textile artist based in Suffolk, England. My work is highly textured and uses combinations of fabrics, hand made wet felting, beads and stitching. Each piece is individually made with layering, extraction and experimental techniques. My inspiration draws on emotional responses to aspects of everyday life and influences of the distinctive Suffolk landscape. I also work in watercolour, acrylics, mosaic and other media.
My unique one-off pieces are embellished with embroidery and glass beading. I also make jewellery, individual felt bags and special covered journals. |
